Texas State Board Of Education Now Approving Students For Funding

SSA_5240 edited
This month we are pleased to announce that the Texas State Board of Education will be working with Asheville Academy in approving funding for families from Texas.  We are excited to be able to help more families get the help they need for their daughter.

What makes our program unique?

Located in North Carolina, Asheville Academy is one of the nation’s leading therapeutic boarding schools for girls. We are a close-knit supportive community designed to help girls ages 10-14 overcome their challenges and become the best version of themselves. We restore hope and teach the skills that girls will need to succeed in life.

If you’re worried that negative patterns could potentially lead to more destructive behaviors with age, you’re not alone. The best thing you can do as a parent is recognize these behavior patterns and correct them.

Please Answer =

Is Asheville Academy the right choice for your daughter?

  • question bubbleDoes she struggle with emotions?  Parents report that their girl’s troubling behavior starts at home and then
begins to creep into their school and social life.
  • Can she “hold the family hostage”?  Many Asheville Academy parents report their girls can sabotage family efforts to move forward or make a decision.
  • Does she avoid things or resist engaging?  Perhaps School has become so socially challenging or emotionally complex she may be looking for ways to avoid attending. She may not reach out to friends or participate in clubs and instead she retreats more into electronics or books.
  • Does she have learning challenges?  Sometimes families comment that school is difficult for their child and is starting to worsen.
  • Are there challenges with making and maintaining friendships?  Parents often mention that their child doesn’t have friends or has only one or two close friends and can be too demanding or controlling in those relationships.

If you recognize your daughter in any of the above statements and have not seen your daughter consistently improve in any of these areas, Asheville Academy’s therapeutic boarding school may be an appropriate placement.

We realize this is a tough decision and we are here to help you and your family determine if Asheville Academy’s therapeutic boarding school is right for your child.
