Jennifer has over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. She earned her M.A. in Psychology from Connecticut College and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from DePaul University in 1997. Her APA approved pre-doctoral internship was completed at the Milwaukee Mental Health Center where she focused on working with high –risk children and adolescents in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
While completing her post-doctorial training at the Child Study Center in Chicago, Illinois, she worked on a multidisciplinary team and gained expertise in assessing infants and children who had experienced institutionalized care, foster placement, and adoption.
Since moving to North Carolina in 2000, Jennifer has developed a thriving private practice in Asheville, North Carolina providing assessment, intervention and therapy for children and adolescents and their families. She began working with AAG conducting clinical assessments and is excited to have recently joined the team as a primary therapist. Jennifer enjoys the natural beauty of North Carolina by cycling, hiking, kayaking and hiking with her partner, friends and beloved companion dog, Ruby.
She travels nation wide conducting comprehensive diagnostic psychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
