Horse Therapy(Equine Therapy) has been used for years to give patients non-verbal skills in dealing with their problems. From the first day your daughter works in our Horse Therapy program we can start to draw conclusions and help her make lasting changes in her life.
Our skilled staff has years of experience working with troubled girls and families to help parents get their daughters back. Our Head Equine Therapist Rob Jacoby is a licensed professional counselor with over 16 years of experience delivering services to youth and their families in outpatient and residential settings.
Rob has spent the last 8 years specializing Equine Assisted Mental Health & Learning. Rob began in the field combining Therapy and Horses as an EAGALA Advanced Trained Practitioner and then moved into combining experiential therapeutic training with Natural Horsemanship after completing Pat Parelli’s Level 1 Course.
Rob combines Equine Experiential Training with Natural Horsemanship to create and facilitate therapeutic programming to aid in the growth and learning of the client’s at Asheville Academy.
