Branson Brown, Director of Recreation Services

Branson Brown is the Director of Recreation Services at Asheville Academy for Girls. In this role, Branson plans, organizes, and leads the recreation and fitness activities. Branson is a Qualified Mental Health Professional and holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Appalachian State University. No stranger to the therapeutic living environment having spent 5 years in therapeutic programs and schools as a direct care staff, logistics coordinator, recreation specialist, and as a supervisor.

Branson has more than 11 years of youth and young adult experience in various capacities. Before joining Asheville Academy for Girls in 2014, Branson worked for a diverse range of organization, including summer camps, local government, and therapeutic boarding schools. Drawing on years of experience, Branson helps students and staff to set and obtain goals.
